Age Groups
Micro’s:
5 & 6 yrs - Our In house Micro’s competition is the ideal introduction
to football for children at this age with teams of six in both age groups with
only four players on the playing area at any one time. The children are supplied
a football kit & ball of which they get to keep along with a trophy &
team photograph presented at a presentation function.

Cubs:
7 & 8 yrs - Our in-house Cubs competition is the next step up from
Micro’s. This introduces children to a bigger team (5-a-side with 2 subs)
and bigger pitches, in preparation for Rooball. The teams are coached by parent
volunteers, which promotes a friendly and rewarding environment for all. Each
player receives a trophy and a team photograph, all presented at Carnival Day.
A great way for children to learn the basics of football and have a lot of fun!

Rooball:
9 - 10 yrs - Our Rooball squads play in the Football West Northern Zone
which covers the other clubs in the Northern Suburbs. Rooball is primarily focused
on participation however, we have introduced a development squad program which
is designed to enhance the advanced skilled players in that age group with a specialised
program designed to help with their preparation & progression to the full
size pitch the following season. Each player receives a trophy at the end of the
season & a team photograph, all presented at a carnival day.
Competition
Junior & Youth: U11 - U18 - Our U11 and U12 competition teams play
in the Northern Zone. From U13 - U18 they go in to a Metro type league on a home
& away basis covering all Junior Clubs. Now that the league structure has
changed Heathridge will be looking to retain a proportion of our players that
have shown an advanced skill level so we can now field competitive squads to compete
in the very highest of competition. Two trophies are awarded in each squad at
this level, Coaches Player & Players Player. These trophies and a team photograph
are given out at a presentation function.
Girls Rooball & U11 - U17 Competition - Our Girls squads
have expanded every season. We are always looking to promote Women's Football
at every opportunity & hope that we can expand into the senior ranks in the
not too distant future. Two trophies per squad & team photograph are received
at a presentation function.
Senior
Football - We currently have two Amateur Squads and a Masters team (35+)
who play in their respective leagues. The Club has a clear pathway for our juniors
to continue their football participation, development and enjoyment.
Coaching
Program - Heathridge Soccer Club has appointed a Director of Coaching,
responsible for the management, implementation and development of our coaching
program. Our coaches will be given access to the very latest of coaching techniques,
courses and equipment. We are confident this approach will complement the enthusiasm
and commitment displayed in developing not only a coaches technical & tactical
coaching skills but in the way they facilitate player development at their respective
levels. We aim to ensure that every child has the right coaching to nurture and
develop them to whatever level they aspire. |
